I Have A Gpa That Will Be 3.7-3.8, I Am A Transfer Student, What Do I Need To Get To Ucla Or Berkely?

I am a Psychology major at a community college, and I used to have a 4.0, but I fear it may be blemished by a couple of Bs and at least one C. However the counselor at Berkeley told me that I already have a high GPA and should start focusing on volunteering and clubs.
They said Psychology was one of the more full majors, which worries me.
As for clubs and activities, I’ve fallen short, I’ve been an ICC rep for a club for some time(but didn’t do anything), I’ve been in a club that is trying to get bottle and can recycling to campus but hasn’t made much progress, I’ve presented a paper in HTCC at UC Irvine and submitted an abstract to be published in some student journal , I am part of the honors program, Another club I’m in hasn’t been doing much since volunteering at a Pow Wow(which I spent more than 12 hours volunteering across 3 days), and I’m trying to get my campus to stop using styrofoam plates but don’t know where to start.
What can I do now? I’m a Cali resident BTW.

Don’t limit yourself–you should add another two schools to your list at least–Irvine, San Diego and Davis are all great schools and there are others.

The UC system requiers at least a 2.0 GPA and 60 credits to transfer – some of which have to be specific things (like language). This is an excellent site you can use, it’ll tell you exactly what you need in terms of credits to transfer from a community college in California to the UC system:http://www.uctransfer.org/

You should apply to both UCLA and UC Berkeley and see how that turns out. In the meantime, if you could bring your GPA up a little more that would certainly be points in your favor.
