most of the sights are in Zone 1 and a few are in Zone 2 … but you cannot get a travelcard just for Zone 1, you would need a Zone 1+2 travelcard

Most tourist attractions are located in zone 1.
Zone one covers most things but if you get zone one and two you have more flexibility.
Zone 1 is central London. That’s where most of them are some in zone 2. And fringe (specialist) ones in the outer zones.
