Whitehearts, Greenhearts and Yellowhearts
Some of my favorite beads of all time have to be the whitehearts. I have a trunk full of new czech and some french beads. Many of them are whitehearts. Greasy yellow and greasy blue whitehearts are very desirable. I have found a few original beads along the river where I live. There used to be trading posts from the early fur trade located there. When I get a chance, I will try and dig them out and get some good photos to put up here.
Greenhearts have to be some of the oldest beads from the African trade. I have a pic and will include it for you to see.

The Yellowhearts or ox eyes as they were called are also extremely old and I have a pic here as well.

The internal heart coloring can be seen if you look closely at the examples here. You can see from damage and aging that the colored core is visible.
